Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate iOS development teams in line with our ambitious product roadmap. If you have a passion for hands-on coding (40-60% of the role) and a progressive people management style, this opportunity is for you!

On-Site Role: Remote or hybrid work models are not available—we are looking for employees willing to relocate to Hobart.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and align engineering functions
• Collaborate with design teams to enhance development sustainability & efficiency
• Provide feedback, conduct reviews, & manage performance
• Engage in hands-on engineering (40-60% of your time)
• Communicate technical solutions to non-technical teams
• Support execution & shipping of mission-critical product features

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven leadership & team-building abilities
• Experience as an Engineering Manager in technology, product, or creative sectors
• Swift & iOS development expertise
• Strong technical judgment & decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to inspire & support teams in high-performance environments

Preferred Skills

Experience with alternative languages (Haskell, C, Rust)
